Kanidtha Issarasaereephap is webmaster and team member of Strategic Planning and Public Relations at the Corporate Office in Thailand. She likes getting out of the office with colleagues from other divisions to find tasty meals that will help to energize her afternoon work. Their favorite restaurants are ones that offer simple, local Thai food in a pleasant atmosphere. When bad weather or a busy schedule gets in the way of their going out, they have lunch delivered, as Thais generally find boxed lunches uninteresting.

Kanidtha (second from left) usually joins her colleagues for lunch at nearby restaurants; it’s also a great time for ‘girl talk’ and building good relationships at the office.

Today, at a restaurant, Kanidtha and her colleagues enjoyed stir-fried minced pork with egg tofu, chili, and basil with fried egg, along with spicy stir-fried flat noodles, also with basil. And for dessert they bought Thai pandan short vermicelli in palm sugar coconut milk.

An everyday scene on the streets of Bangkok, where three-wheeled tuk-tuks are a popular, convenient means to get around.
